24hr. Brand Bash Recap (2019)
In 2019, ABC selected The CanTeen as the recipient of a free rebranding.
Every teen needs the support of their community and caring adults to succeed. The CanTeen offers a safe space where teens can be themselves and find that guidance regardless of their backgrounds.
The youth-led program for eighth through 12th graders provides essential support and fellowship to more than 500 participants each year. These are everyday teens, who can drop for a bite to eat, shoot some hoops or play games with classmates and friends.
The CanTeen partners with several organizations to help teens make good choices about drugs, alcohol and relationships. They also connect teens with community organizations where they can help make a difference as volunteers.
ABC set out to raise awareness – both among students and the public – and funds for this important program, which is a rarity in the suburban setting.
In addition to a complete website redesign, we developed several print pieces, including general, corporate giving brochures and an annual appeal as well as posters to hang in the schools that The CanTeen serves. We promoted key fundraising events with billboards, radio spots, press releases and a media plan. The new logo was incorporated into several clothing options and other promo materials.
Content development included a trio of success stories in written form as well as three videos intended to promote CanTeen services as well as the culture of the organization and participants.
Special thanks to all our partners who donated services, including The Lab Creative (who stayed up all night with us), Ansun Graphics, Heather Rodriguez Photography, Lamar Advertising, Spectrum, Just The Right Stuff, Business Journal News Network and Visions Federal Credit Union.
